TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
