TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
